About a year ago, I met a girl overflowing with stories from her summer stay in Italy. Exaggeration or not, any conversation with her led back to the European experience, or shall we say, obsession. This girl was Sandy Florez, a student of journalism and English literature. Sandy's fascination with traveling and all the dimensions involved with the act of sampling what the world has to offer, was a sign of a very charming personality trait: curiosity (enhanced by a thirst to live more). As time went on, I also discovered yet another attractive fact about Sandy, her determination.
